Current Position:

Began teaching at Sadler Arts Academy in 2010

In 2016 Ms. Catlin Fritz and I were recipients of the Fund For Teachers Grant and spent 3 weeks hiking, boating, and learning about the different cultures in Peru.

Family Information:

I married Travis Cumbey in 1996.  I have 3 daughters, Halie, Makenzie, and Jacie; all of my girls have attended Sadler Arts Academy.

I have 1 dog named Rusty and 2 cats, Charlie and Phoebe (Phoebe is actually Halie’s cat, but I think she likes me better).

Personal Information:

I love spending time at the beach with my family, it’s my happy place!

I love reading.  I always have a book to read where ever I go.

I love exploring historical places and archaeology. In 2015, I was able to go on a archaeology dig at Fort Washita and found lots of Civil War artifacts.

In 2016 I spent 2 weeks in Kenya, Africa at Compel Hope Academy. I had a change to get to the know orphans there and had a life changing experience.
